Dolly Parton's Imagination Library: Free Children's Books From Dolly Parton? Yes, Please!

Did you know your child could get free books from Dolly Parton? The country singer and all around good person has made it her mission to provide books to young children – at no cost.

Her vision is to foster a passion for reading among her county’s preschool population. By mailing high-quality, age-appropriate books directly to their homes, she hopes to get kids energized about books!

Currently, her Imagination Library Program has over 1,462,454 kids registered and has mailed a total of 127,948,148 books to children. Not all communities are available to participate at this time, so check to see if you qualify.

Imagination Library's site does offer the opportunity to recommend your community. Learn more about Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.

Dolly’s Imagination Library is how I first began my son’s library as a baby! He got one free book per month when he was little. After my son entered school, I shared the books in my classroom library! ♥️
