2016 Post-Election Concerns: How to Think About Your Money in Times of Change

One constant in the realm of money is change. Change in our personal situations and change in the world economies. It’s normal to think that there must be some way to predict what’s going to happen and to make smart changes ahead of time. But know that this is not possible on a consistent basis – so relax about it!

What you can control is how you think about your money. A great way to feel calmer about your money is to focus on what you are thankful for. Gratitude is proven to decrease stress and boost happiness. You’ll make much better financial decisions when you are calm and clear. So yes, gratitude is a sound financial-planning strategy. Take thankfulness breaks and shift your attention to what’s working great in your life.
