Parenting Hack: How to Clean Kids' Sandy Feet With Less Mess & Stress!

Headed to the playground, beach or just playing in the sandbox with your kids? Here's an easy way to get sand off your kids feet so it doesn't end up in your car or house! Use talc-free baby powder to get sand (wet-ish and dry) off kiddos feet before loading them into the car.

  • Shake the baby powder on.
  • Let it sit for 30 seconds or a minute.
  • The powder and sand wipes right off. Voila!

It's probably best to do this on the sidewalk or grass, versus in the car. Try it!

Great tip, Catherine Merritt! Cleaning the car out afterwards is the worst part of going to the beach. This would definitely help!
