Kids’ habits are often patterned after their parents, so the best way to get your kids healthy is to stay healthy yourself. It’s also a great opportunity to have some family time. 

  • Dinners made at home often are healthier and have fewer calories than meals eaten out.
  • Around the dinner table can be a great place to promote mental health, too, by connecting as a family. 
  • And try exercising as a family. Take a walk together, go to a park or ride your bikes. Just 20 minutes a day can make a huge difference!
