Meatless Mondays: Why You Need to Give It a Try for Heart Health!

Heart Disease is the No. 1 killer of women. February is American Heart Month, and in honor of your heart, why not give Meatless Mondays a try? Going meatless once a week can reduce your risk of chronic preventable conditions like cardiovascular disease. 

A common myth is that you won't get enough protein, but the reality is that women, on average, consume 160 percent of the recommended daily allowance of protein, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
