Cellulite is nobody’s friend, but it affects between 80 to 90 percent of us – an unfortunate side effect of life. While there is no quick, definite way to completely get rid of cellulite, don’t stress! Here are three things that have helped me to help minimize the appearance of cellulite:
- Eating: Foods that contain vitamin C can help keep the skin firmer and boost collagen. Try blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, etc. Foods with fatty acids help keep the skin strong. Think avocados and fish (I love salmon). Try spinach and kale for their wonderful antioxidant lutein, which helps retain moisture.
- Exercise: Cellulite is FAT! So build your muscle. Try leg exercises, bridge pulses, plié squats, clock lunges, donkey kicks.
- Massages: Use oils like jojoba, rosemary, juniper and hazelnut. They’re great for skin and circulation. Try all three for a triple threat effect!
