We all have invisible buckets inside us. We fill each other’s buckets by saying and doing kind things. We dip each other’s buckets by saying and doing unkind things. Kids want to fill buckets because bucket fillers are kind and loving people who make others feel happy. Want to encourage bucket filling at home? Talk to your kids about what a Bucket Filling Family would:

• look like (smiles, cuddling, playing together)
• sound like (compliments, calm voices, nice manners)
