Think Yoga is Too Difficult to Reduce Your Stress? Anyone Can Do This Pose!

You've heard about the stress-reducing health benefits of yoga, but whenever you see Instagram photos, read about or take a beginner yoga class, it's stressful and too difficult, right? Never fear! Simple yoga is the best yoga for stress reduction. Try this easy tree pose: 

  • Shift your weight onto one leg and lean your opposite heel onto that leg so the ball of your foot is still on the floor. 
  • Bring palms of hands together in front of chest. 
  • Breathe deeply. 
  • Affirm "I am calm, I am poised." 
  • Repeat on other side.
