Air Fryer Salmon Patties Recipe Is Seasoned to Perfection (9 Ingredients, 20 Minutes) Air Fryer Recipes Seafood Dinner High Protein Recipes Budget Recipes Low Sugar Recipes Gluten-free
Salmon patties are a quick, inexpensive and delicious dinner for those busy weeknights. I've made so many different salmon patties recipes, from Mediterranean salmon patties with a creamy red pepper sauce to cheesy southern salmon patties to crispy salmon patties with a buttermilk drizzle. One seasoning I've never used in a salmon patty is salmon seasoning. Why not? It kind of makes perfect sense.
These air fryer salmon patties are quick to prep and cook up in about 12 minutes. The salmon seasoning adds so much flavor to the patties, and the mayonnaise adds moisture. The combination is salmon patties that are crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside.
To make this seafood recipe you will need just nine simple ingredients. Here is your short shopping list: a can of salmon (check out the health benefits of salmon), an egg, panko (regular or gluten-free), mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, onion, green onions or chives and salmon seasoning. I crush the calcium-rich salmon bones as I flake the salmon.
Serve these quick, easy, high-protein salmon patties for dinner with your favorite side dishes. I served mine with brussels sprouts and a fresh salad with homemade ranch dressing.
Cuisine: American
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 12 to 15 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes
Servings: 4
Ingredients
- 14 ounces (1 can) salmon, drained and flaked
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup panko (for gluten-free patties use gluten-free panko)
- 5 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 cup onion, finely minced
- 2 green onions, finely chopped, or fresh chives, minced
- 1 teaspoon salmon seasoning
Here's how to make it:
- Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl. Season with salt and black pepper, to taste. Mix well. You can use seafood seasoning if you can't find salmon seasoning.
- Shape the mixture into four large patties or six smaller patties. Place on the air fryer tray or in the air fryer basket. Mist the tops with cooking oil spray. I used olive oil cooking spray.
- Cook in a preheated 400-degree F air fryer for about 12 to 15 minutes. I flipped mine over halfway through the cooking time.
- Garnish with chopped green onions or chives, if desired. Store any leftover patties in an airtight container in the fridge.
