Healthy Baked Cinnamon Sweet Potato Wedges Recipe Gets a Deliciousness Seal of Approval Vegetables Side Dishes

Sweet potatoes are one of my favorite root veggies because they are loaded with beta-carotene, a flavonoid compound with powerful antioxidant properties. I like to give my kids a boost of beta-carotene by making these easy sweet potato fries spiked with cinnamon. This recipe always gets my kids' seal of approval!

Ingredients

Here's how to make them: 

  1. Put the sweet potato wedges on a baking sheet.  Drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Season with sea salt, if desired.
  2. Bake in a preheated 400-degree F oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Turn potatoes over and bake another 15 to 20 minutes.
