When I saw Travis Kelce's favorite Kansas City chicken wings on Allrecipes, I knew I had to try them. I'd already made Mama Kelce's famous dinner rolls, so there was no stopping me now. (I am still thinking about those sweet rolls!) With just five simple ingredients, I had what I needed already in the pantry, fridge and freezer. Score!

To make this Kansas City barbecue chicken wings recipe you just need a handful of ingredients that you probably already have, too. Here is what you need to gather: chicken wings (read about the health benefits of protein), olive oil, salt, hot sauce and butter. The wings seasoned with salt and tossed in olive oil before being baked until golden and crispy. Stir together a simple two-ingredient sauce, toss with the cooked wings and you're ready to dig in.

Serve these crispy gluten-free baked chicken wings as-is or with your favorite dipping sauces. I serve my chicken wings as an appetizer with ranch and honey mustard, but these wings could stand alone with no sauce at all. Don't forget the celery and carrot sticks – and lots of napkins! Ingredients

• 2 pounds chicken wings
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
• 1/2 cup hot sauce
• 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

Here's how to make it: 

1. Put the chicken wings into a large mixing bowl. Drizzle with the olive oil and season with the salt (or add salt to taste). Put the wings onto a baking sheet. (For easier cleanup, cover the baking sheet with aluminum foil.)
2. Bake in a preheated 400-degree F oven for about 45 to 50 minutes or until crispy, flipping them halfway through cooking time. (I also added some black pepper to the wings along with the salt.)
3. While the wings bake, stir together the hot sauce and melted butter. Toss the cooked wings in the sauce until well coated. (Use whatever hot sauce you enjoy eating. I used Tabasco Sauce.) Serve hot.
