Creamy Pesto Mayonnaise Recipe: This 3-Ingredient Condiment Is a Rock Star Sauces/Condiments

Fresh basil pesto and sandwiches are two of my favorite things. When I discovered this easy pesto mayonnaise I was in heaven! This quick pesto mayo takes minutes to prepare, but adds so much flavor to so many foods (like sandwiches!).

To make this easy, creamy pesto mayonnaise recipe you will need mayo, pesto and lemon juice. Three ingredients! The fresh lemon juice adds an extra pop of freshness to this flavored mayonnaise. Simply stir together all the ingredients. You could season with a little black pepper, if desired (I put black pepper in everything). Use jarred pesto or homemade pesto for this creamy condiment.

Use this fresh pesto mayonnaise as a sandwich spread, as a dip for french fries, onion rings or fresh vegetables, on a charcuterie board with crackers or bread, or as a sauce for grilled chicken, fish or shrimp. You can even thin it a bit with a little milk and use it as a salad dressing.

Recipe Notes

  • Try using sundried tomato pesto instead of basil pesto.
  • For a salty change, use olive tapenade instead of basil pesto.
  • Store the pesto mayonnaise covered in the refrigerator for up to four days.

Here's how to make it:

  1. Whisk together all the ingredients.
  2. Store in an airtight container in the fridge until ready to use.
