Overloaded with Halloween candy? Put it to good use by making thankful cookies for your friends, family and neighbors. It's a fun and easy project to do with your kids, and people appreciate your thoughtfulness!

Cuisine: American
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 8 to 20 minutes
Total Time: 18 to 30 minutes

Ingredients

Here's how to make it:

  1. Pick your favorite cookie recipe. Mix up the batter and put onto your baking sheets.
  2. Sprinkle the extra treats, such as candy corn, M&Ms, crushed Heath or Snickers bars, on top.
  3. Bake as usual.

Give your cookies as gifts around Thanksgiving time with a note about how much you appreciate these people in your life. You could write something like: "Here's a sweet reminder that we are thankful for you!"
