One bowl. One whisk. Twenty-four moist chocolate cupcakes. We love this equation! Whether you make them for a birthday party, family get-together or just because it's Tuesday, you're going to love this easy one-bowl chocolate cupcake recipe.

You could bake this chocolate batter in two greased and floured round cake pans instead of muffin tins for an irresistible chocolate cake. Bake for about 30 minutes and cool completely before frosting. Frost these cupcakes (or cake) with your favorite cake frosting.

Ingredients

Here's how to make it: 

  1. Whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking power, baking soda and salt in a mixing bowl. Whisk in the eggs, buttermilk, water, vanilla and oil. 
  2. Line 24 muffin cups with baking liners. Fill the cups up two-thirds full with the batter. 
  3. Bake in a preheated 350-degree F oven for about 20 minutes. Remove and cool completely before frosting.
