The Best Homemade Electrolyte Drink Recipe: Rejuvenate & Hydrate Beverages

Electrolytes are minerals that help us regulate the balance of fluids in the body. They play a big role in blood pressure, muscle contraction and overall wellness. If we lose a significant amount of these minerals (sodium, magnesium, potassium) through sweating, vomiting or diarrhea, your body will start to dehydrate and may react with muscle cramps. One way to keep our electrolytes in balance is by drinking beverages that contain these minerals.

Instead of grabbing for a bottled sports drink, why not make your own healthy electrolyte drink? This electrolyte drink recipe is made with healthy and hydrating coconut water, raw honey, Himalayan sea salt and citrus fruits. Store it in the refrigerator and fill up your water bottle with it before heading out or sip on it at home throughout the day. This recipe can easily be doubled or tripled.
