Easy, Breezy 2-Ingredient Vinaigrette Recipe: Salad Dressing At Its Simple Best Salads Sauces/Condiments Budget-friendly

As we learn along the way, simple is usually best. And that applies to salad dressings, too. This two-ingredient (we don't count the salt and pepper!) vinaigrette recipe is perfect for drizzling over salads like this Barefoot Contessa-inspired corn salad recipe. It would be equally delicious on a cucumber salad, pasta salad, spring lettuce salad, quinoa salad, bean salad, tomato salad or tuna salad.

The two-ingredient vinaigrette recipe is made with extra virgin olive oil and apple cider vinegar. That's it. You really don't need anything else on that salad. Whisk the two ingredients together, season with kosher salt and black pepper, and you have a tasty salad dressing to complement those greens, or whatever you pour it over.

Here's how to make it:

  1. Whisk together all the ingredients in a small bowl or shake in a salad dressing cruet.
  2. Season with salt and pepper.
