Pasta for the win – again! This one-pan creamy broccoli fettuccine alfredo pasta recipe is ready in about 20 minutes. The simple pasta recipe is creamy, cheesy and has fresh broccoli and cauliflower, so it's a complete dinner. Plus you get the health benefits of broccoli and the health benefits of cauliflower in every luscious bite.
To make this high-protein recipe you will need the following simple ingredients: fresh broccoli, fresh cauliflower, butter, olive oil, fresh garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, flour, vegetable broth, heavy cream, fettuccine noodles and Parmesan cheese. If you're not a fan of cauliflower, you can use all broccoli in this easy pasta recipe.
The pasta is delicious as a complete high-protein dinner, but you could add a fresh side salad and some garlic bread. We bet no one would mind. You could even serve this creamy alfredo pasta as a side dish with your favorite protein.

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 4 cups vegetable broth
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 8 ounces fettucine (or your favorite pasta)
- 3 cups broccoli florets (cut them small so they cook faster)
- 1 cup cauliflower florets (cut small)
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated
Here's how to make it:
- Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet with a lid. Add the garlic, garlic powder and onion powder. Cook about 1 minute, stirring. Add the flour and stir to combine. Cook for 1 minute.
- Add the broth and heavy cream, whisking until smooth. Cook, stirring, for 2 minutes.
- Add the uncooked fettuccine, broccoli and cauliflower. Cover and cook for about 10 to 12 minutes, or until pasta is al dente. Season with salt and pepper. Add the Parmesan cheese and stir to combine. Serve. Store the pasta in an airtight container in the fridge. Reheat in the microwave, adding a little cream or milk to loosen it back up.
