This Simple 3-Ingredient Dill Salmon Recipe Could Not Be Easier Seafood Dinner

Salmon is one of my favorite fish to cook. The health benefits of salmon are undeniable (dill has some health benefits, too!), it tastes amazing, is versatile and doesn't overcook as quickly as some fish. For me, simple is best – and this easy dill salmon recipe is as simple as it gets.

Serve this moist salmon recipe with your favorite vegetables and a salad. To keep my dinner healthy, I served mine with broiled Parmesan tomatoes and sautéed broccolini.

Cuisine: American
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes
Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets, skin on
  • olive oil
  • chopped fresh dill

Here's how to make it:

  1. Heat a little olive oil in a skillet. Season the salmon with salt and pepper and drizzle with a little olive oil. Put the salmon into the hot pan, flesh side down, and cook until it turns golden brown, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Flip the fish over and top with some fresh dill. Cover the pan and continue to cook until just cooked through, about 3 to 5 minutes depending on thickness of fish. Serve immediately.
