Ingredients

• 1 stick (8 tablespoons) butter, softened
• 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 cup white chocolate chips
• 1 cup dried cranberries

Recipe Notes

• Not a fan of cranberries? Use raisins, dried cherries or dates.

• Store the cookies in an airtight container to keep them fresh.

• To soften butter, take it out of the fridge at least 30 minutes before you start preparing the batter.

Here's how to make it:

1. Cream the butter and sugars together in a mixing bowl. Add the egg and vanilla. Mix well. 
2. In another bowl, combine the flour and baking soda. Stir the mixture into the wet ingredients.
3. Fold in the chocolate chips and dried cranberries. 
4. Drop tablespoons full of dough onto greased baking sheets. Bake in a preheated 375-degree F oven for about 8 to 10 minutes. Do not overbake.
