Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings Recipe Will Be Your MVP Today Appetizers Poultry

If you're on Team Chicken Wing for the upcoming football games, then you'll need a new chicken wing recipe on your team. This oven-baked garlic and Parmesan chicken wing recipe will be your MVP.

The chicken wings are baked until crispy in the oven. A wing sauce made with butter, garlic, parsley and freshly grated Parmesan is melted together on the stovetop before being drizzled over the crispy wings. Sounds dang good, right? 

Serve these crispy baked garlic Parmesan chicken wings as an appetizer or as a main dish for dinner with a salad and vegetable. They will be the hit of your Super Bowl™ party!

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 2 - 3 pounds chicken wings 
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons oil

Garlic Parmesan Sauce

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 5 - 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan 

Here's how to make it:

  1. In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings in the cornstarch. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Add the oil and toss to coat. Put the wings onto baking sheets. Bake in a preheated 400-degree F oven for about 45 minutes, or until cooked through and crisp. 
  2. To make the sauce, melt the butter in a small pot. Add the garlic and cook about 30 seconds. Add the chopped parsley and Parmesan. Stir to combine. 
  3. Put the cooked chicken wings back into a large bowl. Drizzle the sauce over the wings and toss to coat. Sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese, if desired.
