Macaroni & Cheese Turkey Recipe: Get Cheesy This Thanksgiving With a Mac & Cheese Flavored Roasted Turkey Holidays Poultry

A macaroni and cheese Thanksgiving turkey? Say what? Reynolds Wrap® released this roasted turkey recipe made with that boxed macaroni and cheese that will transport you back to childhood. Let's get cheesy this Thanksgiving!

Ingredients

• 1 10- to 16-pound turkey
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
• 2 pouches of powdered cheese from your favorite boxed macaroni and cheese
• 2 boxes of your favorite box macaroni and cheese, prepared (in addition to the two boxes needed for the cheese powder only)
• Reynolds Wrap® heavy duty aluminum foil

Here's how to make it: 

Remove neck and giblets from turkey, rinse and pat dry. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Tear off a sheet of Reynolds Wrap® heavy duty aluminum foil 2 1/2 times longer than the turkey. Place the turkey lengthwise in center of the foil. Brush with oil, then coat the turkey in the powdered cheese mixture.

Close foil loosely by overlapping the ends. Turn up short sides of aluminum foil to hold in juices. Do not seal airtight. Place the turkey in roasting pan at least 2 inches deep. Insert meat thermometer through foil into thickest part of inner thigh, not touching bone.

Bake the turkey until the  meat thermometer reads 165 degrees F. Remove from the oven and let it stand for 15 minutes.  Remove the foil. Transfer to a serving dish and add prepared boxed macaroni and cheese for garnish.
