- 28 ounces (2 cans) green peas, drained
- 1 - 2 tablespoons pesto (or to taste)
- freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 - 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts (or to taste)

- If you don't like walnuts, use pecans, almonds or pine nuts.
- To drain your peas, pour them into a mesh strainer or colander over the sink.
- You could also use mozzarella, fontina, asiago or your favorite Italian cheese blend.
