Here's what to have on hand to make this easy, delicious shake: a piece of pecan pie, butter pecan or vanilla ice cream, milk or half and half, and bourbon. The ingredients are whirled together in a blender until smooth and creamy. You pour it into a mason jar or smoothie glass and grab a spoon (it may be too thick for a straw)! 

To make this dessert recipe even more decadent, add whipped cream (coconut whipped cream is vegan) and a dusting of cocoa powder. Boom! It'll feel like the holidays, any day. Cheers!

Ingredients

• 1 piece of pecan pie 
• 2 scoops butter pecan ice cream or vanilla ice cream
• 1/2 cup whole milk or half and half 
• 1 1/2 tablespoons bourbon

Recipe Notes

• If you want a thinner shake, you can use skim milk or almond milk instead of whole milk or half and half.

• Garnish with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon or crushed graham crackers, if desired.

• For a non-alcoholic version, omit the bourbon.

• This shake freezes well, in case you want to make extra.
