To make this decadent seafood recipe, here are the gluten-free ingredients you'll need to gather: fresh salmon, salt and pepper, garlic (check out the health benefits of garlic) and brown sugar. You'll also need a cedar plank, along with the time it takes for the plank to soak in hot water before grilling. Soaking the cedar plank in hot water (according to package directions) before grilling helps prevent the plank from burning while the salmon cooks. First, place the salmon fillet on the soaked cedar plank. Next, season with salt and pepper, then coat the salmon with garlic and brown sugar. Place the plank on the grill and cook until done.
Serve this moist and flavorful grilled salmon recipe for dinner any time you like with some grilled vegetables, a fresh salad or your favorite grains. I served it with this Mediterranean potato salad, and it's now ranking at the top of our list of favorite summer meals.
