"The older (wiser) I get, the more I absolutely love mushrooms. Anyone else? This is a very good thing because mushrooms are loaded with nutritional benefits," says Rachel Maser, mom of four and founder/creator of the clean eating blog, Clean Food Crush®. "This recipe is equally great alongside a quick weeknight dinner or as a delicious side dish for a special holiday meal. They stay great in the fridge for two to three days, so throw some of these sautéed mushrooms in your meal prep, too!"
To make this sauteed mushrooms recipe you will need the following gluten-free ingredients: button mushrooms (check out the health benefits of mushrooms), olive oil, clarified butter or ghee, onion, fresh garlic, wine or broth, fresh parsley, fresh dill and fresh oregano. The mushrooms cook up in about eight minutes on the stovetop.
Serve these healthy mushrooms as a side dish with dinner.
Health Check: Studies show eating 1 to 2 cups of mushrooms each week may reduce your risk of cancer by up to 45 percent!
