Avocados are delicious! In my (Philippine) culture, we treat them as a fruit! We enjoy them in milkshakes and desserts. The best ones are a little sweet yet firm, creamy but not mushy. Here are my tips on how to choose the perfect avocado!
- The darker the skin of the fruit, the riper it is.
- Gently squeeze the fruit in the palm of your hand; the softer, the riper.
- For smoothies, I like my avocados softer and riper.
- For salad, I like them a little firm, yet still creamy.
