5-Ingredient Slow-cooker Sausage Recipe With Sauerkraut & Apples by 30Seconds Food
Sauerkraut and sausage are a classic combination. Throw some apples into the mix, and you have a fantastic fall recipe! This easy smoked sausage recipe with sauerkraut and apples is made in a slow cooker and has minimal prep. The brown sugar and apple juice adds the moisture needed to perfectly cook the ingredients while you do other things.
You could add caraway seeds to the recipe if you're a fan. Use whatever sausage you like. Polish kielbasa and German sausages work well. For a kick, you could use jalapeno smoked sausage.
