Love pancakes? Most of us do! Next time you make them, think outside the circle when it comes to pancakes for a fun treat. Here's how!

• Pour pancake batter into a plastic squirt or condiment bottle to give you more control over the griddle.
• Instead of plain round circles, squirt the batter into a star shape, flower, Mickey Mouse, butterfly, bear – you name it.
• You can even add detail to your creation with a face, stripes or other design because whatever you add first will brown slightly more than the rest of the pancake, revealing your inner artist.
