Ingredients
- 1/2 - 1 tablespoon dark red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
Here’s how to make it:
- Combine all of the ingredients together.
- Mix well. Store in an airtight glass mason jar. Keeps up to three months.
When ready to use:
- Brown 2 pounds of ground beef, chicken or turkey. Drain fat.
- Add the seasoning along with 1/4 to 1/2 cup of tomato sauce and 1/4 cup stock.
- Simmer until flavors are infused and liquid is absorbed. Adjust seasonings to your preference.
