Valentine's Day Desserts: How to Make Sexy Hot Fudge Chocolate Sauce!

This hot fudge sauce has been a favorite in our family for over 50 years! The recipe has been passed down through three generations. Give it a try!

You'll need:

  • 2 squares chocolate 
  • 1 tablespoon butter 
  • 1 cup sugar 
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla 
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk 
  • pinch salt

Here's how you make it:

  1. Melt chocolate in a double boiler. 
  2. Add sugar and mix well. 
  3. Add the evaporated milk. Cook, stirring constantly, until thick. 
  4. Add butter, vanilla and salt.

Use on ice cream, drizzle over your favorite cake or brownies, or perfect as a dip for fruit or marshmallows!
