Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour (or 1:1 gluten-free flour)
- 1 cup quick-cooking oats
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 6 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
Here's how to make it:
- Stir together the flour, oats, baking powder and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, stir together the milk, eggs, vanilla, melted butter and brown sugar.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir to just combine.
- Heat your waffle iron according to manufacturer's directions. Grease or spray with nonstick cooking spray. Cook the waffles until golden brown and cooked through. Serve.
