Lessons From Dad: Strong Work Ethic & Life Skills Are What Dads Used to Be Made Of Father's Day

When I was a child my father got up at 4 a.m. and got ready to head out into the deep woods of northern British Columbia to work as a logger. He came home around suppertime, ate, relaxed and went to sleep. He repeated this every weekday, and on the weekends he would take us kids camping, hunting and fishing and we learned life skills that need to matter more today!

My dad is my hero. Even though I moved away from him when my parents split up at the age of 9, his morals and values stuck with me for life.

Work hard to create a great life for your family and take them adventuring outdoors to enjoy wildlife and learn to become self-sustaining individuals.

I am grateful for all you taught me, Dad!
