Got a Scar? All-Natural Rosehip Oil May Help Repair Skin Damage Skin Care

Naturally derived carrier oils and essential oils are extremely popular for their aromatherapy benefits and also for helping improve skin texture and maintaining a healthy moisture balance. One oil that you may not have heard of is rosehip oil. It's currently getting a ton of buzz, and not just because supermodel Miranda Kerr says she used it on her stretch marks during her pregnancy. I used it after foot surgery (slightly less glamorous than Miranda Kerr) and was very happy with the way my scar turned out.

According to Corinne Morley, global in-house beauty expert for natural skin care company Trilogy, rosehip oil can be used on both the face and body. "Independent clinical studies have shown Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil to be highly effective at delivering nourishment and repair for optimum skin health, with its benefits including treating scars, stretch marks, fine lines, wrinkles and dry and dehydrated skin," she says.

Even better, rosehip oil is readily available at Whole Foods and costs less than $30.

Just had a mole removed off my daughters neck. Need to try this to lesson the scar. Don't want her to go from being self conscious about the mole, to being self conscious about the scar. Thanks Belinda Lichty Clarke !
