There I was at the 30Second Mom launch party at US Cellular Field, chatting with a group of people, when a striking (and fabulously dressed) woman walked up to me. "I love your boots!" she exclaimed. Even though I hadn't met her, I knew I was in the presence of a kindred spirit, another chica who knew "the secret of the boots."
What secret? That the right pair of boots can make a good outfit, a great outfit. That when you wear those boots, you add a flair you can't get with a pair of pumps. They create presence, and a lasting impression. That's why my go-to look is a dress and boots. Try it!
