Vacation at Disney World With the Kids: For Less Stress, Make Sure to Do This! by Toni Van Ert

Vacation at Disney World With the Kids: For Less Stress, Make Sure to Do This!

Disney World is the happiest place on earth, but spring break and summer means long lines, and the laughter can fade after a few tiring days. As a lifelong visitor to the park (with and without kids), I've learned that the secret to a successful trip is to alternate days in the parks with other activities like:

  • hotel pool
  • beach
  • boating
  • shopping
  • golf

If you want to do everything and don't have time to take days off from the parks, then take a break mid-day from the heat and lines. A little swim and nap go a long way, and it may allow you to stay later in the parks when lines are always the shortest!
