3 Tips for Breastfeeding Moms Who Plan to Pump at Work! Breastfeeding

Going back to work and pumping? Try these tips!

  • Don't leave pumping for the first day at work. Set up your pump, test it and see how Baby responds to the bottle.
  • Get bags for your breast milk. Most pumps offer compatible bags, so you can pump into the bag without worrying about cleaning bottles. The only drawback? Price! The bags aren't cheap. If you store the pumped milk in bottles, you'll have to clean them after each use.
  • Other products to have handy: water to stay hydrated, wipes to clean spilled milk and disinfecting wipes to clean pump parts.
