We all fall into habits, and it's no different with parenting. Perhaps to quiet tantrums or to have more me time, we may have unknowingly cultivated bad parenting habits. Resolve to get rid of some of them, such as:
- Electronic device as babysitter. We all know excessive use is bad. Count the hours you have allowed such usage and decide if it's time to cut back.
- Giving in to tantrums. Who needs tantrums, but dealing with it is not by giving in!
- Bribing your way out. Find yourself giving your child lots of "rewards?" Honestly ask if it's a reward or a bribe.
