Take a plastic portable bin or basket and fill it with everything kids need to do their homework. Here are some things to include:

- crayons and markers
- hole punch
- ruler

- rubber cement and a glue stick
- highlighters
- Sharpies
- index cards
- rubber bands, paper clips and binder clips
- pencil sharpener
