An Easy Way to Get Kids to Eat Their Veggies! (Why Didn't I Think of That?) Parenting

A close friend of mine who would watch my babies on occasion had a magical way of getting my kiddos to eat veggies, at every and any age. The secret? Give them their veggies first – when they’re hungry! That’s right. Hunger’s the best sauce! 

Don’t put out everything on one plate. Before any drinks are served, or pasta or chicken, give them their vegetables. Stand firm, but nonchalant. I prepare the veggies first and call them for dinner, while I’m finishing the starch and protein. They’re hungry and they protest, but eventually hunger prevails.

Eventually, it will just become the way dinner is done.
