Don't let your kids get caught up in STUFF. The book “If the World Were a Village” by David J. Smith is a beautifully illustrated children’s story that takes the world population of 6.8 billion and shrinks it to a village of 100 people, then gives facts about this population. Examples:
- out of 100 villagers, 61 would come from Asia
- 17 would not have access to clean water
- 48 would not be free to speak/act according to their beliefs
The facts are eye-opening as we see ourselves as among the most fortunate!
