Family Vacations: Sesame Place is THE Place for Kid-friendly (Furry) Fun! U.S. Travel Activities Traveling With Kids

My sons love Sesame Street, and I love the educational value of the show. When I learned there was a Sesame Street theme park, Sesame Place, we had to go (three times!). This family-friendly vacation spot includes rides, a waterpark and live shows. You also can dine with the characters. 

One of the highlights of the park is their twice-daily parade. I think of Sesame Place as a smaller scale Disney World – much more manageable, less expensive and more suited to toddlers (though there's lots for older kids, too).
