Boating can be a great family-centered activity. From fishing trips to just relaxing on the water, boating is a great way to get away from it all and enjoy being together. Just make sure everyone on board is wearing a life jacket. This includes adults, teens and kids.
Also, even when near docks or piers - without being in a boat - it’s a good idea to keep young children in life jackets even if you don’t plan on getting in the water. This way they are safe in case they accidentally fall in (which happens more than you may think!).
