Bored Kids? Here Are 3 Ways Jigsaw Puzzles Help Kids Grow Playtime Activities

Cooped up inside? To beat boredom, my kids and I always did jigsaw puzzles. To this day, we all love doing them. We take one with us to the beach. It's fun and we love the challenge. Everyone takes a section and we work and work until it's complete.

Some puzzles go on for weeks depending on the size. Make sure you use a board and a table that isn't constantly in use. That way, you can take your time and move it if needed.

Puzzles are great for:

  • memory
  • awareness
  • promoting positive sibling interaction
