Do you sometimes work from home with kids underfoot? I do! On days off from school, I try to stick to our screen-time limits, and that means getting creative. Instead of asking them to stay out of my office, I invite my boys to "work next to me."
- I set up my laptop in a family-friendly area.
- I let the boys pick a project that doesn't need too much input from me.
This doesn't last all day, but it allows me to handle smaller tasks without a lot of interruption.
