Summer is the time to kick your legs up and relax, but not if it’s your child’s feet up on the dashboard of your car. Imagine if your kiddo – who is old enough to ride up front – has his feet up when an airbag deploys. Yup, not good. An airbag can go off in as little as a 25 mph collision and the force of the bag could cause spinal cord injury, other injuries and even death to riders not sitting feet-down in the seat.
So save the “put your legs up and relax” until you get where you're going – during all the seasons. Remember, Mom and Dad, a seatbelt around and feet on the ground – for everyone!
