Keep Kids' Feet Off the Dashboard When Driving! The Scary Reason Why... Parenting

Summer is the time to kick your legs up and relax, but not if it’s your child’s feet up on the dashboard of your car. Imagine if your kiddo – who is old enough to ride up front – has his feet up when an airbag deploys. Yup, not good. An airbag can go off in as little as a 25 mph collision and the force of the bag could cause spinal cord injury, other injuries and even death to riders not sitting feet-down in the seat.

So save the “put your legs up and relax” until you get where you're going – during all the seasons. Remember, Mom and Dad, a seatbelt around and feet on the ground – for everyone!
