With the hot summer approaching, it's very likely you'll be buying more frozen treats. If your kids are like mine, they love ice cream! What I don't love, however, is the sticky drips from their melting treat through the cone. I came up with a way to prevent the melted ice cream from becoming a big mess – on them and on the floor. Here's how:
Before scooping the ice cream into the sugar cone, stuff a miniature marshmallow into the bottom of the cone. This acts as a plug of sorts and keeps the drips inside the cone. Mom is happy, and the kids get an added treat at the end!
