How to Create a Portable DIY Homework Station for Your Kids! DIY Parenting

Who hasn't found themselves running around looking for a hole punch at 9 p.m. for some school project! Not this year! Get ahead of the homework crunch by creating a homework caddy. Take a plastic portable bin or basket and fill it with everything kids need to do their homework. Here are some things to include:

  • plain and lined paper
  • stapler
  • calculator
  • tape
  • crayons and markers
  • hole punch
  • ruler
  • scissors
  • rubber cement and a glue stick
  • highlighters
  • Sharpies
  • index cards
  • rubber bands, paper clips and binder clips
  • pencil sharpener

This caddy can now go from room to room wherever your kids do their homework. It’s also easy to grab and throw in the car if one child needs to do their homework in the car while taking a sibling to their soccer game or something. Now there's no excuse for the kids to not get it done!
