We've all heard those stories about moms being forced to dump their breastmilk before boarding a plane. Here are four ways to keep that from happening to you!

  • Check Airport Regulations - Different rules apply for different airports, so it is best to check the rules of the specific airports you will be visiting.
  • Check Airline Policies - Also check with the airline that you are traveling with on their policies of carrying breastmilk onto the plane. It is unlikely that you will be allowed to store your breast milk in the fridge on the plane.
  • Confirm and Print - Print all email correspondences and website regulations to show airport and airline staff.
  • Breastmilk But No Baby - If you do not have your baby traveling with you, you want to ensure that you can carry it as an exempted liquid.

Now pack your bags and go enjoy yourself!
