Arguing With Your Teen All .. the ... Time? Here's Why Not to Take the (Crazy) Bait!

If you're yelling, your teenager feels trapped. You've seen it: an innocent argument over laundry goes from zero to crazy right before your eyes.

You're the adult; you can't argue with fools and you know it.

Teens are programmed to short-circuit their parents. If you're yelling, they've got you right where they want you.

  • Keep your cool. You're above all that.
  • Close your mouth; step away.
  • Apply the 24-hour rule and see if things make more sense when a new day dawns.

Don't take a ride on the crazy train with your teenager!
