Parent-Teacher Conferences: 3 Tips to Help Parents Make the Most of Them!

Whether you're eager for a sit-down with your child’s teacher or dreading potential drama, here are three tips to help you prepare for the parent-teacher conference!

  • Email your child’s teacher to request a separate meeting if there are serious concerns about your child’s learning.
  • Have your own questions ready: “How much should I help him with homework?” “What if I see her making a lot of mistakes on her math work?”
  • Be ready to share your own observations.

Our children are learning differently than how we were taught, so feel free to ask about the new methods and get your questions answered!
